SDR Testimonial: "I Feel Like a New Person"

SDR Testimonial: "I Feel Like a New Person"

A TESTIMONIAL FROM A TWO TIME ATTENDEE OF SDR:

I said yes to this retreat before I knew anything about it.

I simply knew that Mary would create something magical and I knew I wanted to be a part of it.

It was magical.

Not the woo kind (ok maybe a little 😏), but the soul enriching, life altering, body nourishing kind.

The kind of magical that makes you want to weep happy tears because you are so safe and held and seen in a room full of women who you’ve only known online before that moment.

The kind of magical that lets you know you’re on the right path. Where you spend a weekend away from your phone not because you were forced to, but because you didn’t want it, need it or crave it like usual. My daily phone use log went from 6-10 hours a day to 2 hours and 17 minutes. About an hour of that was spent documenting the beautiful house, food and company I was surrounded by.

After the Slow Down Retreat I feel like a new person. I have different priorities, perspectives and reactions. I am calmer, happier, more at peace and more in tune with my intuition than I even thought possible.

I feel physically better after eating food from Renata that also made me want to weep. Noticing that I felt pleasantly full, and always having snacks show up at the perfect times. I wad hydrated and well fed and I didn’t have to do the work for it. How blissfully wonderful to be cared for, when every day life is full of taking care of everyone else.

I want every woman I know to experience the Slow Down Retreat.

I know, it sounds weird to pay money and spend hours of flying and driving to go Iowa and do “nothing.”

Yet it is the most worthwhile trip I have ever made. Because I got to know myself in ways I hadn’t yet. And I get to exist in this world differently as a result.

Plus, did I mention the hugs?

Start saving up now, friends, and I’ll be right next to Mary on the steps waiting to hug you next year ✨
